Dr Katie Overy has been shortlisted as Outstanding Research Supervisor of the Year

Congratulations to Dr Katie Overy (Edinburgh College of Art), who has been shortlisted for an Outstanding Research Supervisor of the Year Award for her excellence in supervision, individual, collective, and post-graduation.
Dr Katie Overy is a Senior Lecturer in Music and created the Institute for Music in Human and Social Development (IMHSD) in 2005. She has also established, together with Nigel Osborne and Peter Nelson, the MSc Programme in Music in the Community. Her expertise encompasses various different areas, including musical learning and development, musical imagery, fMRI and DTI in music-related research, among others.
