Edinburgh takes 2 of 3 talk prizes at SNG meeting!

Congratulations to PhD students Nathanael O’Neill (Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences) and Christina Brown (Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences) on being awarded 2nd and 3rd prize for their ‘Data Blitz’ talks at the Scottish Neuroscience Group meeting on Friday. Olivia Davis from University of Glasgow took the 1st place prize in what was a fabulously exciting session, which required 15 students to outline the work they were presenting on their poster in 1 minute and 1 slide - tough, but they all managed it!
Furthermore, Alison Todd (PhD student in the Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences) gave a beautifully clear presentation to represent the University of Edinburgh for the full talks.
The Scottish Neuroscience Group meeting bring together neuroscience researchers from across Scotland and it rotates round the member universities in alphabetical order - the Dundee meeting this year was extremely enjoyable and, next year, it is coming to Edinburgh again so put Friday 30 August 2019 in your diary right now!
